Shelby County Government Health Department
Reza Khorasani is an experienced Environmental and Process Engineer currently serving in the Pollution Control Section of the Shelby County Government Health Department, focusing on enhancing air pollution control systems and industrial processes. Prior to this role, Reza conducted significant research at Auburn University on anaerobic digestion and biogas production, and designed innovative bioreactors. Earlier, at the University of Tehran, involvement included research in sustainable energy and chemical process development as well as volunteer teaching assistant roles in advanced mass transfer and ASPEN PLUS. Reza holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from both the University of Tehran and Auburn University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
