Cynthia King

Cynthia King, MSW, is a seasoned professional in public health and social work with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as a Public Health Outreach Specialist at the Shelby County Health Department since July 2016, Cynthia is involved in educating diverse community members about vital health programs and disseminating information through health fairs and expos. Previous roles include Resident Services Coordinator at NHE, Inc., and Family Centered Specialist at First Home Care, along with years of experience as a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor and School Social Worker. Cynthia holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Education from Fisk University and a Master's degree in Social Work from Indiana University School of Education - Indianapolis.
