Rowan Futrell

Rowan Futrell started their work experience in 2019 as a Barista at Starbucks. In 2021, they became a Layout Manager at The Alabamian, where they supervised and designed page layouts for 11 issues. They also wrote a feature article during their time there. In 2022, Rowan worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Lake Homes Realty, gaining experience in various design tasks. They then held roles as a Junior Graphic Designer at American Family Care and as a Graphic Designer at The Sunrise News. In 2022, Rowan also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer and is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Shelby County Newspapers, Inc.

Rowan Futrell attended the University of Montevallo from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. In addition to their formal education, Rowan also obtained several certifications in graphic design-related subjects. In February 2023, they completed the "Time-Saving Tips Using InDesign" certification from LinkedIn. They also completed the "UX Design: 1 Overview" certification from LinkedIn during the same month. In January 2023, Rowan obtained the "Introduction to GREP in InDesign" certification, also from LinkedIn.
