Joan Gubbels has extensive experience in accounting and business operations, currently serving as a Cashier at Shelby County State Bank since April 1995, where responsibilities include accounting, investments, payroll, IT liaison, human resources, and accounts payable. In addition, Joan co-owns Shady Acres Repair, established in 2010, managing all accounting functions for the business. Prior experience includes working as a Receptionist at Jacobs Corporation from 1990 to 1995. Joan earned a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting from Iowa Western Community College between 2010 and 2013.
