Julia Kastner

Julia Kastner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and library services. Currently serving as the Irene McKinney Teaching Fellow at West Virginia Wesleyan College since July 2019, Julia also contributes as a book reviewer for Shelf Awareness and has previously held similar roles at Foreword Reviews. In addition to independent writing and editing work, Julia has a solid background in library management, having served as a Senior Librarian at MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Reference Librarian at Houston Community College. Julia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Master's in Library Science from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Houston.
