Maria Byrka 🇺🇦

Maria Byrka has been working in the field of business and product management since 2009. Maria started their career as a Financial Analyst at JV Galca Ltd in 2009, followed by an Internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2010. In 2015, they worked as an Account Manager at GNS-IT, and also took up a role as an Assistant Professor at Lviv Polytechnic National University. In 2016, they joined ELEKS as a Sales/ Project Coordinator in the Data Science Team. In 2019, they were hired as a Business Analyst at SoftServe's Solutions Center of Excellence. Currently, Maria is employed at Shelf, where they have held the roles of Product Manager, Lead Product Manager, and Business Analyst since 2020.

Maria Byrka began their educational career in 2005 when they earned their Master's degree in International Economic Relations from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Maria then continued their studies at Lviv Polytechnic National University, earning their PhD in Business/Managerial Economics in 2014. During their studies, they also attended the HSB Hochschule Bremen - City University of Applied Sciences for a Summer School in Language, Cultural and Regional Studies in 2009. In 2013, Maria Byrka also attended Vilniaus Universitetas/Vilnius University for a Faculty of Economics program.
