Joanna Wong

Joanna Wong is a marketing advisor at Shell Energy Australia, with experience in wholesale gas marketing since May 2021. Prior to this role, Joanna served as an analyst at Shell from February 2018 to May 2021 and worked as a process technical safety engineer with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia from January 2014 to January 2018. In that position, Joanna ensured the safe operation of petroleum activities by administering legislation and conducting inspections. Additionally, Joanna completed a graduate officer rotation focused on the Petroleum Safety Branch and gained practical experience as a vacation student intern at Santos Ltd. in late 2012, contributing to coal seam gas production engineering. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University, obtained between 2010 and 2013, and attended Rossmoyne Senior High School from 2005 to 2009.
