Gian Paolo Sillona has a extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with Shell and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation. Gian Paolo has held various leadership positions, including Global Head of Sustainability Operations at Shell Mobility, where they are responsible for driving sustainability initiatives. Gian Paolo also served as the Area Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager for Shell Retail East, overseeing the HSSE performance of 8 countries and managing over 100,000 employees and contractors. Prior to that, they were a Retail Operations Manager and District Manager at Shell, where they successfully turned around declining businesses and achieved growth targets. Sillona also has expertise in wet stock management and has implemented strategies to improve performance in this area. Additionally, they have experience in HSSE management and received recognition for reducing robberies on Shell retail sites. In their current role as Global Head of Sustainability Operations at Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, Sillona continues to contribute to sustainability efforts in the industry.

Gian Paolo Sillona completed their high school education at Ateneo de Manila University from 1989 to 1993. Gian Paolo graduated with honors. Later, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems at the same university. Currently, they are enrolled in a Certification Course in Business Sustainability Management at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership, with studies beginning in 2022.
