Alanna Juerges

Alanna Juerges is an experienced geoscientist and product owner with a strong background in subsurface modeling and digital solutions for the oil and gas industry. With a tenure at Shell from April 2012 to January 2025, roles included Chief Data Product Owner and Senior Geoscientist, where Alanna led the delivery of integrated workflows for subsurface evaluations and managed software development and deployment for products like JewelSuite and PetroSigns. Alanna also contributed to a joint development project between Shell and Baker Hughes, focusing on carbonate geology and static modeling. Alanna holds a PhD from the University of Manchester, specializing in the burial diagenetic history of carbonate platforms, and a Bachelor’s degree with first-class honors from Keele University.
