Carlos Abreu is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Americas Business Development and Ventures for e-Mobility at Shell since 2021. Prior roles at Shell included Head of Global Growth and Partnerships for Renewable Power from 2018 to 2020. Carlos also held the position of Vice President for Corporate Development and Grid Services at Swell Energy, and has extensive experience in strategic partnerships from roles at Sunverge Energy, First Solar, Powerhive, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. With a background in investment banking and development at Citigroup and DAI, Carlos holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia SIPA, along with a BA in Economics and Political Science from UCLA.
