David Delgado

David Delgado is a seasoned reservoir engineer with significant experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Shell since May 2017, David focuses on asset reservoir engineering for non-operated ventures in Argentina and the United States, specializing in reserves booking and production forecasting. Prior roles include Senior Reservoir Engineer for acquisitions and divestitures, where David evaluated opportunities in various US oil basins, and a secondee at BG Group, gaining international experience through multiple technical roles. Earlier internships at Chevron and Oxy involved decision analysis optimization and investigating enhanced oil recovery methods. David holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Energy Resources Engineering from Stanford University.
