Janwillem Beckers

Janwillem Beckers is a Senior Business Advisor in Gas, currently serving in governance roles at Shell, including overseeing its interests in NAM and GasTerra. Previously a Non-Executive Director at NAM B.V., they led a team of reservoir engineers responsible for developing numerous oil and gas fields in the Netherlands. Janwillem has extensive experience in risk assessment related to earthquake impacts from gas production and has held various engineering and advisory positions at Shell, including roles in Syria and China. They hold degrees in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s in Physics from Imperial College London.
