Michael Zurbrick

Michael Zurbrick is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business transformation, nuclear engineering, and maritime operations. Currently serving as the Business Transformation Lead at Shell since September 2018, Michael is responsible for Trading & Supply Business Integration and Assurance for Products. Previously, Michael held various leadership roles in the US Navy, including Production and Warehouse Manager, Lead Shift Engineer, and Operations Manager, where oversight and management of a naval nuclear reactor and a team of 70 qualified technicians were key responsibilities. Michael also served as an officer on a nuclear submarine, where training initiatives elevated the engineering department's performance. Prior maritime shipping experience includes roles at Maersk LLC and other companies, alongside a significant early internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Michael is pursuing an MBA in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Penn State University and holds multiple advanced degrees related to engineering and management.
