Nipun Jain

Nipun Jain is an experienced professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Information & Data Lead at Shell since September 2015. In this role, Nipun focuses on data governance policies and data quality management for Upstream and Integrated Gas assets. Prior to Shell, Nipun worked as a Senior Business Analyst at BG Group, contributing to the upstream E&P value chain, and held positions as a Senior Associate Consultant at Infosys and Associate Consultant at BP, where Nipun was involved in hydrocarbon accounting projects. Nipun began a career in data analysis at Chevron and Mahindra Satyam, working on reservoir data quality management. Nipun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, completed in 2008.
