Ramaswamy Velayutham

Ramaswamy Velayutham is currently the Global Safety, Environment and Asset Management Lead for Carbon Capture and Storage at Shell, where they focus on safe energy delivery and environmental stewardship. They previously held various roles at Shell, including Project Manager for the Outside-in-Risk Project, and served as Process Safety Work Group Leader at KBR from 2004 to 2012. Ramaswamy also has experience as a Safety Engineer at Technip and as an Operations Engineer/HSE Lead at SPIC. They earned a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
