Roger Hickman

Roger Hickman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President at Royal Dutch Shell since 2006. In this role, Roger manages global pensions across over 40 countries, overseeing liabilities of approximately $100 billion and providing support to trustees of more than 50 pension plans. Previous positions include Finance Director at Sakhalin Energy, where Roger contributed to a joint venture valued at $8 billion, and Executive Director of Finance at Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd., facilitating oil and gas exports worth $40 billion. Roger's career also includes a decade at KPMG as a Director. Educational qualifications include Chartered Accountant status, a PGDP in Accounting from the University of Natal, and a B. Business Science (Honours) and LLB from the University of Cape Town.
