VP Strategic Aggregate Operations at The Shelly Company

Christopher Pike, P.Eng has extensive work experience in the engineering and mining industry. Christopher began their career as a Drill and Blast Engineer at Cleveland-Cliffs in 2005. Christopher then worked at Sandvik Mining and Construction, first as a Sales Engineer from 2007 to 2011, and later as a Product Line Manager. In 2012, they joined Teranga Gold Corporation as a Senior Mining Engineer, where they were responsible for overseeing mining operations and ensuring efficient production. Pike also held the role of Mine General Foreman at Teranga Gold Corporation during their tenure. In 2014, they became a Mining Superintendent at U.S. Silica Company, before transitioning to The Shelly Company as a Performance and Engineering Manager in 2017. Christopher then joined CRH as the VP Performance - Engineering and Capital Investments in 2021, and is currently serving as the VP Strategic Aggregate Operations at The Shelly Company from 2024.

Christopher Pike, P.Eng completed a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Dalhousie University from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a Certificate of Applied Science in a Field of Study from Acadia University from 1999 to 2002. Christopher also attended Goose High School, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided.
