Amanda Martin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and innovation within the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation at Shelter Insurance Companies, Amanda fosters a continuous feedback loop for corporate strategy, synthesizing external insights to inform and challenge internal processes. Previous roles include Innovation Enablement Manager, where Amanda established a network for innovative thought leaders, and Software Engineering Manager, overseeing a team responsible for critical feature development and support. With a strong foundation in agile methodologies as a former Scrum Master and Agile Program Manager, Amanda has successfully led cross-functional teams in high-stakes initiatives. Additionally, Amanda’s expertise spans market research and software engineering, complemented by academic credentials including an MBA in Management Information Systems and a BA in Linguistics. Currently, Amanda is also a Board Member at the Global Insurance Accelerator.
