Ivette Mendez

Ivette Mendez has worked as a Substitute Assistant Teacher, Teacher Assistant, and Head Teacher at Sheltering Arms since 2015. Ivette started working at Zigolini's in 2014 as a Counter position.

Ivette Mendez's education history starts in 2009 when they attended Borough of Manhattan Community College, focusing on Bilingual Early Childhood Education. Ivette completed their studies there in 2010. From 2014 to 2015, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at CUNY Hostos Community College. Later, in 2016, they enrolled at Hunter College, where they studied Psychology with a focus on Cognitive. Ivette'seducation at Hunter College is ongoing.

In terms of additional certifications, Ivette obtained First Aid CPR AED certification from Blythedale Children's Hospital in January 2016 and again in April 2018.
