Chao Cheng-Shorland has held various positions in the past 26 years, beginning in 1993 as an Analyst Programmer at the Hospitals Superannuation Board. In 1995, they moved to Sanderson CDC Consulting as a Senior Software Consultant/Project Lead. Chao then joined ANZ in 1999 as a Senior Technical Analyst. In the same year, they also started working at Boral Shared Business Services as an Oracle Functional Lead/Project Lead/Oracle e-Business Application Analyst/Technical Lead. In 2004, they worked at Shell as a Senior Consultant and at Boral as an Oracle Enterprise Solutions Architect. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Head of Architecture/Domain Architect - Corporate & Enterprise IT and Program Architect at Origin Energy. In 2016, they founded iFuture Services, an innovative Enterprise Architecture as a Service (EAaaS) provider. Most recently, in 2017, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of ShelterZoom Corp., a Multi-Award-Winning Technology Company & Market Leader In Proven Blockchain Solutions.

Chao Cheng-Shorland obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from RMIT University. Additionally, they have a certification in TOGAF 9 from The Open Group.
