Jonathan Owens

Jonathan Owens is a Senior Associate at Audiovisual Chicago at Shen Milsom & Wilke. Jonathan has also been an Adjunct Faculty member at the Illinois Institute of Art, teaching evening and weekend classes as part of the Audio Production - Bachelors of Science program. Jonathan's previous experience also includes working as an Intern at Threshold Acoustics, where they assisted the AV department with the design of audio visual systems for a wide variety of spaces. Their duties included Autocad drafting/markups, EA Detail drawings, EASE Modeling, Av panel design, RT60 calculations, STC calculations, sound system tuning, CATT Modeling and Calculations. Jonathan has also worked as a Stage Hand/Lighting Designer at TM Production Services, where they were responsible for unloading trucks and setting up stages, sound equipment, and lights for small to large scale events, as well as operating the lighting board during some events. In addition to their stage experience, Jonathan has also worked as a freelance engineer and audio engineer at Energy Command Studios.
