Ernie Carnevale

Ernie Carnevale, MHA, possesses extensive experience in healthcare management and education, currently serving as a Consigliere and part-time Actor and Standardized Patient Trainer at Shenandoah University since 2000. Ernie also holds the title of Adjunct Professor, teaching healthcare and business courses aimed at developing principled leaders. Previously, Ernie served as President and CEO of Blue Ridge Hospice, significantly increasing patient census and establishing an inpatient facility. In earlier roles, Ernie managed corporate affairs at Morningside Development, oversaw support services at Inova Loudoun Hospital, and held various leadership positions in psychiatric services. Ernie's educational background includes a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
