Philip G. Evans

Phil Evans currently serves as the Vice President of Administration & General Counsel at Shenandoah University, advising senior university officials on legal and business matters. With extensive experience in the sports and media sectors, Phil has been the President of Evans Sports and Media Group since July 2007, focusing on consulting for start-ups and turnarounds. Previously, Phil held key legal and business roles with BN Media/Beliefnet and Amerivision Communications, where strategic negotiations and operational efficiencies were instrumental. As the first president of the NBA Development League, Phil transformed the league's structure and financial health. Additionally, Phil's legal career began at Latham & Watkins, culminating in a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
