Currently serving as a Senior Research Associate at Shenkman Capital Management, Inc., since April 2022, Lara previously held roles as a Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst and Market Risk Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from July 2019 to April 2022. Early career experiences include a Tax Internship at John D Jordan, CPA, PLLC, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant position at North Carolina State University, and a role as Project Manager at Fissler GmbH. Lara also gained valuable insights as a Risk Summer Analyst at Bank of America in the summer of 2018. Lara earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Technology from North Carolina State University between 2017 and 2019.
