Rick Mason

Rick Mason has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Rick currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Shentel, where they are responsible for various aspects of the company including product management, strategic network planning, network engineering, field operations, and supply chain. Prior to joining Shentel, Mason worked at Google as the Head of Install and Repair Operations, overseeing the deployment and operations of Google Fiber's network. Rick also held the position of Vice President of Field Operations at Cincinnati Bell, where they were accountable for installation and repair services, outside plant planning and engineering, and fleet/facilities management. Mason has a strong background in technical sales, solutions engineering, and data core planning and engineering. Overall, they have a wealth of experience in managing and optimizing telecommunications networks.

Rick Mason has a BSEE degree in Communication and Power Systems from Ohio University. Rick also holds an MBA from Xavier University. Additionally, they have certifications in ITIL 2011 Foundations and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Rick has obtained these certifications in 2012 and 2011 respectively.
