Alex Majeau

Alex Majeau has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial design. They started their career as a Sample Prep & Industrial Design Consultant at eBags in 2011. Later, in 2012, they joined Hasbro as an Industrial Design Co-Op for the Preschool Team, where they focused on concept development and sketching. They continued their Co-Op position at Hasbro for the Boys Team in 2013, working on model making and mold layout modifications. In the same year, they also worked as an Industrial Design Vendor at Hasbro, responsible for color sheet layouts.

In 2013, Alex worked as an Industrial Design Co-Op at the University of Cincinnati, specializing in CNC milling and operations. They were also involved in the design and fabrication of mobile classroom dividers.

From 2014 to 2018, Alex worked at KDM POP Solutions Group as a Designer, responsible for creating and testing corrugated displays. They also maintained regular contact with sales staff, customers, and production managers during the fabrication process.

Since 2018, Alex has been working at Shepard as a Lead Structural Designer. Their role involves translating client requests and renders into feasible structures. They regularly collaborate with other departments and clients to find the best solutions at reasonable prices. Overall, Alex has gained expertise in various areas of industrial design, including trade show and exhibit booth design, point of purchase design, rapid prototyping, and concept development.

Alex Majeau obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati, where they attended from 2009 to 2014.
