Janine Obiedzinski

Janine Obiedzinski, CMP has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the event planning industry. Janine started their career as a Customer Service/Sales Intern at Catholic Book Publishing, where they corresponded with customers and assisted with administrative tasks. Janine then interned as a Community Relations Intern/Special Events Assistant with the Baltimore Orioles, overseeing the REACH program.

After that, Janine worked at Loyola University Maryland Fitness and Aquatics Center as the Building Supervisor/Risk Management Coordinator/Family Programs Coordinator. Janine created themed events for families, attracting a large number of participants. Janine then joined Strategic Results as a Meeting Planning Intern, assisting with marketing research and delivering exceptional customer service. Janine was later promoted to Meeting Planner, where they were involved in all aspects of planning and managing events.

Janine then worked at the Baltimore Convention Center as an Account Executive, managing events and serving as the main contact between clients and the Convention Center. Currently, they are at Shepard, where they have held multiple positions. Janine started as a National Account Executive, responsible for production, planning, and maintenance of trade shows or events. Janine then became the Manager of Sponsorship & Account Production, focusing on creating and managing the Shepard sponsorship library. Presently, they are the Director of Sponsorship Production & Project Management, leading sponsorship production and project management efforts.

Throughout their career, Janine has demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills, as well as expertise in event planning, marketing, and customer service.

Janine Obiedzinski, CMP completed their education at various institutions. Janine obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General, from Loyola University Maryland in 2012. In 2010, they also pursued studies in International Business at Monash University. Prior to their university education, they received their High School Diploma from West Morris Mendham High School in 2008. Furthermore, they acquired the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Convention Industry Council in 2015.
