Erik Shaw

Erik Shaw is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Director and Supervising Physician at Shepherd Center since July 2006, where expertise includes providing chronic and interventional pain services for patients with complex conditions, including those with failed surgical pain and catastrophic injuries. Prior to this, Erik Shaw worked as a Mission Support Scientist at Lockheed Martin from January 1996 to July 1997. Educational achievements include a Fellowship in Pain Medicine from UT Health San Antonio (2005-2006), a Doctor of Osteopathy from UNTHSC (1997-2001), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University (1990-1995).
