Ford Vox serves as the Medical Director for Inpatient Continuity at Shepherd Center since July 2012, focusing on rehabilitation for inpatient acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multi-trauma cases. In addition, Ford holds leadership roles as Chair of the Medical Ethics Committee and Medical Director for the Disorders of Consciousness Program, overseeing care for patients with severe brain injuries. Ford also works as the Medical Director for Paradigm, provides volunteer leadership as Chair of the Georgia Trauma Commission Rehabilitation Committee, and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Ford's previous engagements include editorial and writing contributions across various media platforms, including CNN and Bloomberg, and editorial board membership at Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Ford Vox holds an M.D. from UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine and a B.S. from Rhodes College.
