Rick Thompson

Rick Thompson has extensive experience in leadership roles within Lutheran organizations. Since 2005, Thompson has served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Shepherds Foundation at Shepherd Of The Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc., a prominent community leader in elder care. Additionally, since 2000, Thompson has been on the Board of Directors, previously serving as Past President of Camp Frederick, a Lutheran retreat established by multiple churches. Prior to these roles, from 1989 to 2009, Thompson worked at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans as a Lead Lutheran Engagement Specialist, focusing on volunteer recruitment and community impact. Thompson holds an Associate's degree in Labor Studies and Business from Kent State University, completed in 1998.
