George Bruce

George Bruce is a solicitor at Shepherd and Wedderburn, focusing on contentious and non-contentious consenting matters in the renewable energy sector across Scotland and England. With prior experience as a trainee solicitor, George gained expertise in offshore renewable energy consenting and construction disputes during a secondment at Scottish Power Energy Networks. In addition, George serves as a trustee at Dundee Law Centre and is a committee member of the Rural Affairs Sub-Committee for The Law Society of Scotland. As a former law tutor at the University of Dundee, George taught public law and healthcare law, and previously worked in various research and assistant roles within the Scottish Parliament and the House of Commons. George holds degrees in Law from the University of Cambridge, a Graduate LLB from The University of Edinburgh, and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Dundee.
