John MacKenzie

John MacKenzie is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial disputes, specializing in intellectual property and technology disputes across the UK. Currently a Partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn since December 2010, MacKenzie has successfully managed high-profile cases, including appearances before the Court of Justice of the European Union. Prior to this role, MacKenzie was a Partner at Pinsent Masons from June 1999 to December 2010, where significant contributions were made to the firm's renowned IT Disputes team. Earlier career experiences include serving as an Associate at Bird Semple, Carlton Gilruth, and Bowman Gray Robertson & Wilkie, as well as training at McGrigor Donald. MacKenzie holds an LLB in Law from The University of Edinburgh, obtained in 1991.
