Danica O'Neill

Danica O'Neill is an experienced leader in fund development and communications, currently serving as the Executive Director for Fund Development & Communications at Shepherd's Care Foundation since February 2022. Prior to this role, Danica held the position of Director of Fund Development at The Good Samaritan Society from December 2017 to March 2022 and served as Senior Development Officer at STARS Foundation from December 2014 to December 2017. Danica also has experience as Director of Development at Recreation for Life Foundation in 2014, where efforts supported the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association. Previous roles include Manager of Advancement, Annual & Leadership Giving at Grant MacEwan University, Manager of Annual Giving at Alberta Cancer Foundation, and Special Event Coordinator at Canadian Cancer Society. Danica's educational background includes a Management degree from the University of Calgary and a Hotel & Restaurant Administration Diploma from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science & Technology.
