Luke Voiland has a strong background in architecture and design. Luke started their career in 2003 as an Assistant at Eastlake Studio. Luke then had internships at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP in 2006 and Renzo Piano Building Workshop in 2007. In 2008, Luke joined Shepley Bulfinch as an Associate and worked their way up to become a Principal and Board Member. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Vice President for Practice Strategy at Shepley Bulfinch. Luke also has experience outside of Shepley Bulfinch, including roles as Co-Chair at the Boston Society of Architects' Committee for Research and Innovation Design from 2017 to 2019, and as a Council Member at the Urban Land Institute's Real Estate Technology Council from 2017 to 2019.

Luke Voiland has a diverse education history, with a strong focus on business and architecture. Luke recently attended Harvard Business School Executive Education, where they completed the Leading Professional Service Firms program in 2021, enhancing their skills in the field of business. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Architecture degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008, delving into the intricacies of architecture. Luke also holds a BA degree in Geography from the University of Chicago, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Their educational journey began at Deerfield Academy, where they spent their formative years from 1996 to 1999.
