Larry Eppley

Larry Eppley serves as the Chairman Of The Board at 1871 since July 2019 and is a Partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, where Larry also leads the Hospitality Industry Team and has been the Managing Partner in Chicago since July 2012. Eppley's legal practice focuses on acquisition, real estate finance, development, public and private finance, joint ventures, and equity raising. Previously, Eppley was general counsel to a rapidly growing company in Chicago. Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Eppley was a partner at K&L Gates from March 2009 to July 2012 and spent over two decades as a partner at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd. Eppley holds a BS and MAS in Accounting from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law.
