Cynthia Frey

Cynthia Frey is an experienced Risk Management Coordinator and Utilization Review Manager at Sheppard Pratt. Cynthia has a Master's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology. Throughout their career, Cynthia has held various roles in mental health facilities, providing level of care assessments, reviewing charts for medical necessity, and liaising with managed care organizations. Cynthia is also a strong patient advocate and has successfully lobbied for the transfer of bed licenses in Maryland. In their current role as an Access Coordinator at Sheppard Pratt Health System, Cynthia is responsible for triaging walk-in patients and conducting level of care assessments.
