Lucy Qi

Lucy Qi, CPA, CA, serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance at OMERS, overseeing a team of over 70 professionals responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis. In addition to this role, Lucy holds positions as Chair of the Finance, Audit, and Property Committee for the Board of Governors at Sheridan College, Investment Committee Member for the Ontario Hospital Association, and Board Member at StockPick, a FinTech start-up. Previously, Lucy was Vice President of Financial Reporting and Executive Director of Corporate Controller at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, where significant contributions were made to implement new accounting standards and improve financial governance. Lucy's early career included managerial roles at the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board, BMO Financial Group, TMX Group, and PwC, building a strong foundation in accounting and finance complemented by advanced degrees from the University of Waterloo and executive education from Yale School of Management and Ivey Business School.
