Alasdair Townsend has a diverse work experience in the field of PR and digital marketing. Alasdair started their career at Mantra PR as an Account Executive in 2006. After that, they worked as a Senior Programme Executive at Hotwire for a year. In 2008, they joined Diffusion PR as the Divisional Head, where they played a key role in winning PR Week New Agency of the Year 2009. Alasdair then moved on to Eulogy (Onlinefire) as the Director of Business Strategy & Development in 2011. During the same period, they also served as a Social Media Council Member at DMA UK. In 2013, Alasdair became a Social Media and Content Consultant at Hiscox, where they developed social media strategies and managed day-to-day campaigns. Later that same year, they became the Managing Partner at Sherlock Communications, an award-winning PR and digital marketing agency specializing in Latin America. In 2023, Alasdair joined Unlock Latam as the Managing Partner.
Alasdair Townsend holds a BA Hons 2:1 degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
