Mahabubul Alam

Mahabubul Alam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mahabubul is currently the Director of Informatics at Sherman Abrams Labs, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Lab Informatics at the same company from November 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Sherman Abrams Labs, Mahabubul worked at Acutis Diagnostics from December 2015 to October 2020, where they served as the LIMS & Connectivity Administrator.

Mahabubul'searlier experience includes working as a Student Assistant at Stony Brook University Hospital from September 2010 to December 2014, where they were responsible for customer service, cashier duties, and resolving technical issues for patrons. As an Information System Intern at National Academy Foundation from July 2009 to August 2010, Mahabubul compiled data, provided client support, and implemented software policies. Mahabubul also worked as a Student Technician at John Dewey High School from September 2008 to June 2010.

Mahabubul Alam obtained a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Boston University, completing their studies from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Stony Brook University between 2010 and 2014. Mahabubul completed their high school education at John Dewey High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including ITIL Foundation V3 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2018 and CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in August 2019.
