Drew Johns

Drew Johns has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Drew currently holds the position of Vice President, Finance & Corporate Development at Shermco Industries since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Director of Corporate Development at Vulcan Materials Company from January 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Vulcan Materials Company, Drew worked at U.S. Concrete, Inc. from October 2014 to December 2021. During their tenure, they held various roles including Director of Strategic Finance, Senior Manager of Strategy & Development, and Manager of Strategy & Development. In these positions, they were heavily involved in merger, acquisition, and divestment initiatives at both the business unit and corporate level. Drew handled transaction execution, due diligence coordination, deal structuring, integration planning, and post-closing performance evaluation. Drew also prepared strategic proposals for the Board of Directors, including complex valuation modeling.

Prior to their time at U.S. Concrete, Inc., Drew worked at Duff & Phelps as a Senior Associate, where they gained experience in business valuation, including equity and debt interests, fixed and intangible assets, and purchase price allocations. Drew was responsible for creating complex valuation models and conducting in-depth industry and company research.

Drew's early career includes a role as a Venture Fellow at G51 from August 2010 to May 2011.

Drew Johns attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2005 to 2007.
