Dongpil Kwak

Dongpil Kwak has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dongpil started their career in 2000 as a System Administrator in the ROKAF 11th Fighter Wing (Korean Air Force) and worked there until 2003. Dongpil then worked as a Software Developer & Researcher at ICU Industrial Centre from 2007 to 2008, where they researched the relation between IP Sensor network and Context aware System and developed Ontology based Inference System. From 2007 to 2008, they also worked at ETRI as a Software Developer & Researcher, where they were involved in the development of IPv6 based Sensor Mesh Network Testbed Module. In 2008, they worked as a Software Developer at clipcomm and was responsible for the development of VOIP internet phone utility and alarm service program. In 2009, they worked as a Software Developer & Researcher at Tmaxsoft. Dongpil then worked as a Freelance Mobile Application Developer at Unseen TV from July 2011 to September 2011, where they built up the backend server and front app for a back-up secure video camera application. From October 2011 to February 2012, they worked at MediaIndex as a Mobile Application Developer and developed a multimedia video download service application. From March 2012 to May 2012, they worked as a Web Developer at Cyberdesign Works. Dongpil then joined Mobiddiction in June 2012 as a Senior Mobile Developer and worked there until August 2016. Currently, they are serving as the Lead Mobile Developer at Sherpa - Everyone's Private Courier since September 2016.

Dongpil Kwak began their education journey in 2004 at the University of Wollongong, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Dongpil attended this institution for a duration of two years, completing their undergraduate studies in 2006. Following this, Dongpil continued their academic pursuits at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering. In 2010, Dongpil enrolled as a PhD Candidate at the University of Technology Sydney, where they focused on the field of Computer Science. This period of their education lasted until 2011.
