Rachel Adams

Rachel Adams is the current Facility Security Officer at Sherpa 6. Rachel previously worked as the Facility Security Officer at Cyberspace Solutions from June 2014 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for managing security for multiple contracts located at multiple locations both CONUS and OCONUS, maintaining the JPAS database and security clearances for over 300 personnel, submitting and maintaining visits and perm certs to customer locations, reporting security violations and derogatory information in JPAS and through security channels, initiating, reviewing, and submitting eQIPs for periodic reinvestigations, nominating personnel for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access, submitting TASS requests, revokes, and monthly reports, cutting and issuing DD 254s for subcontracted companies, issuing security guidance and providing security support to subcontracted companies, verifying SCI eligibility for every candidate prior to consideration on contract, maintaining internal database with contract specific required documentation to assist program management, assisting with processing all new employees through new hire orientation, and performing additional operations center requirements as needed. Rachel has experience with JPAS (level 5), Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) Portal (formerly ACAVS), Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (eQIP), Industrial Security Facilities Database (ISFD), National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM), DD 254, working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Rachel Adams has an associate's degree in general studies from American Military University. Rachel also has a degree from Central Texas College and The University of Connecticut.
