John D. Hullibarger

John D. Hullibarger is the VP of Corporate Audit and Loss Prevention at Sherwin-Williams. John has been with the company since September 2013, originally taking on the role of Director of Corporate Audit. In this role, they were responsible for directing Sherwin-Williams' global corporate audit team, which monitors SOX compliance, provides assistance to external auditors, conducts audits evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's internal controls, and promotes operational efficiency.

In their current role as VP, Hullibarger continues to coordinate with external auditors, identify process improvement opportunities, share best practices, and develop programs to strengthen internal control and compliance environments. John also examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of the company's system of internal control, plans and directs audit activities at company facilities around the world, and provides risk and control guidance regarding system conversions and global roll-outs. Hullibarger is also responsible for leading the on-going risk assessment process to develop and implement the annual audit plan.

Throughout their time at Sherwin-Williams, Hullibarger has provided guidance, direction, and career development to the global Corporate Audit team, including setting goals and assessing performance. John has helped the team grow and evolve into a well-oiled machine that is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Thanks in part to Hullibarger's leadership, Sherwin-Williams has a strong reputation for being a financially sound and compliant company.

John D. Hullibarger completed a BSBA in Accounting from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
