Petter Starlander

Petter Starlander is a Senior Chemist at Sherwin-Williams, where responsibilities include the development of radiation curable coatings for wood and various substrates such as plastics and papers. With a strong background in radiation curing methods, Petter has worked extensively with technologies including medium pressured Hg-lamps, LED-curing, Electron Beam, and Excimer. Previously, Petter held the position of R&D Chemist at Sherwin-Williams, focusing on UV curing coatings for furniture and flooring. Educationally, Petter earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lund University and also completed a master thesis at Höganäs AB. Leadership experience includes serving as the Head of Public Relations at Teknologkåren vid Lunds Tekniska Högskola and as a Bevakningsgruppchef in the Swedish Armed Forces.
