Jonathan Keim-Shenk is an experienced design and water resources engineer with a solid background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Design Engineer III at Sherwood Design Engineers since September 2022, Jonathan previously held multiple positions at AKRF from January 2019 to August 2022, including Water Resources Engineer - Professional II. Prior roles include a Mechanical Engineer at H&K Group, Inc. where Jonathan implemented advanced workflows for water and wastewater projects, and earlier internships at companies such as Dorman Products and Carpenter Technology Corporation. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Sustainability in the Built Environment from Drexel University, completing studies in 2017.

Sherwood Design Engineers is a site civil engineering practice committed to the optimal integration of ecology, infrastructure, and design. Our headquarter is in San Francisco with Offices and Studios located in San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Petaluma, and Santa Cruz. We specialize in water management strategies and water resources engineering. We document site infrastructure as well as master plan engineering solutions at a campus, neighborhood, and district scale. Important to our engineering practice is our ability to span building and landscape. Sherwood works collaboratively with project teams to find ways to maximize efficiencies through an integrated and ecological approach that results in high performance buildings and landscapes recognized for function as well as aesthetics and user experience.
