Lee Coutts

Lee Coutts has extensive experience in marine engineering, beginning as a Marine Mechanical Apprentice at Shetland Islands Council from 1999 to 2003. Lee progressed within the council, holding roles such as Van Driver/Storeperson and General Assistant, before serving as Sole Engineer on Mv Dagalien and Mv Daggri, and subsequently becoming the Engineering Superintendent and Team Leader in Marine Engineering. Prior to this, Lee worked as a Mechanical/Maintenance Technician at Malakoff Limited and gained early experience as a General Assistant at Jims Garage (Shetland) Ltd. Education includes training at the NAFC Marine Centre, Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
