Poornima Venkatakrishnan

Poornima Venkatakrishnan is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in engineering and mentorship. Currently serving as a SheTo Mentor in the "Together We Grow" program at SheTO since February 2024, Poornima's prior tenure at PayPal spanned over a decade, culminating in the role of Head of Treasury Services Engineering, where responsibilities included managing high-volume transaction data and post-processing activities. Additional roles at PayPal involved directing a team of over 90 engineers to enhance merchant servicing experiences, delivering mobile and web products, and improving onboarding processes for partners. Poornima's earlier experience includes positions at Plato as a Technical Leadership Mentor and at Veetle Inc. and Palm Inc. in various engineering roles. Poornima holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.Tech in Information Technology from the University of Madras.
