Mark Whalen

Mark Whalen has extensive work experience at the Shickel Corporation, starting in 2006. Mark held various roles, including Vice President Project Management, Manager of Engineering, and Project Manager, until their current position as Vice President, which they have held since November 2023. Before joining the Shickel Corporation, they worked as a Methods Analyst at General Motors from 2002 to 2005.

Mark Whalen attended Virginia Tech from 1997 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they enrolled at James Madison University and completed an Innovative MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General between 2015 and 2017. Mark has also received several certifications from Procore Technologies in 2020, including Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management), Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety), and Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools).
