Ali Momeni

Ali Momeni has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering and academia. Ali is currently working at Shield AI as the VP of Engineering, leading the Design Organization and focusing on human-machine teaming and Human-AI collaboration. Prior to this, Ali served as an Engineering Fellow at Shield AI and held the position of Senior Director of Engineering. Ali has also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley and as a Professor of the Practice at Brown University. Ali's academic career includes roles as an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. Ali Momeni has a BA degree in Physics and Music from Swarthmore College, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Ali later attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a PhD in Computer Music from 1999 to 2005.
