Ted Smith

Ted Smith is an experienced inventory control and fleet management professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Inventory Control Supervisor for both Shield AI and Martin UAV since January 2020, Ted oversees the tracking and management of over 2000 inventory line items valued at more than $8.9 million. Prior roles include Manager of Material Stores at Southwest Airlines, Fleet Supervisor at Durham School Services, Fleet Manager at Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Maintenance Manager at Budget Cars and Trucks Rental, and Supervisor of Material Control for the United States Department of Defense. Ted also served as Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent in the United States Air Force, managing extensive fleet operations across multiple regions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Trident University International and an Associate of Arts in Fleet Maintenance Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
